C Jayaram, Joint Managing Director, Kotak Mahindra Bank expects inflation to ease by March-April and adds that interest rates are likely to decline over much of 2012. He says that it is a good time to invest in markets for long term investors as he sees a good case for Indian equities next year. According to him, if markets stabilize in the next 3-4 months, interest rate sensitives would be the preferred segment to invest in, or else, go in for FMCG or IT.
